Full day of the Musee d’Orsay where we enjoyed the impressionists and a special exhibit around celestial spirituality expressed by artists from Monet to Munch and Kandinsky. Amazing stuff which I will blog about later.
Then we walked across the gardens at the Tuileries before heading to the sacre coeur.
The crowning of the day consisted of the twinkling lights of the Eiffel Tower at 11 pm. It took me back to the magical night of the Millennium when we ere fortunate to witness the unveiling of this feature on the tower. It turns it into a 24 carat diamond in the night sky. Can it get more romantic?
I don’t think so.

Some pictures are worth a thousand words. The Eiffel Tower is one of those pictures.
The 4 of you look so happy!
