Our journey began with a rainy BART ride to San Francisco’s international terminal. A brand-new Twin engine Airbus 350-900 ultra long range from Singapore airlines waited for us.
This journey will be the longest flight we have ever taken together. A mere 16 hours and 40 minutes of darkness across the dateline will get us to Singapore. Then it’s another 3.5 hours to Hanoi.
We chose the premium economy seats with extra legroom and at first sight, the seats are comfy and spacious for this monster journey.
