Our tour of this innovative ship continued today with lots of nooks and crannies (hidden gems) to discover. From a speakeasy supper club (8 course meal and cocktail pairing with live music) to an adults only private hideaway with the world’s first suspended edgeless pool, there is something for everyone.

The team at Royal has prepared a tasting option for us to get small bites of several specialty restaurants over lunch. The two below are my favorites I recommend.

On the entertainment front, this ship sets a new standard with the launch of its iconic Wizard of Oz Broadway production with a full size live orchestra. The stage is next level in size and capabilities, from a suspended bed for Dorothy to fly through the tornado to platforms that rotate like Rubik’s cubes.

Add to that the legendary ice rink show “Starburst” and the “Aquadome” which I will see tonight and report back on tomorrow’s blog from their private island Coco Cay on. Every age has something to be excited about.

This ship is the ideal destination for family vacations where everyone dances make it their own from a common home base. Speaking of home base, there are tons of different room types offered. Check out my video of my Surfside balcony.
For those with deeper pockets, there are suites to opt for that run from junior suites all the way to the fantastic Royal Suite which sleeps six in style.
