It’s it the time of year again for our GEM event, recognizing our Direct Travel Star advisors on a discovery trip to the Costa Rican area of Guanacaste. GEM stands for going the extra mile which is what all of us at Direct Travel do for our valued clients every day.
I know, I usually do t post two airport pictures in the same blog but this time it is fitting. The first one was taken early morning at Houston intercontinental with a view from the United Club acrosss terminal C. The Boeing 777 plane in the middle is tge flight I arrived on from San Francisco while the second shot shows all four planes (Westjet, Transat, American and United) our group members arrived on in the small Costa Rican airport of Liberia.
One of the elements I love the most on these special rewards trips is the reconnect in person with colleagues, friends, and our invaluable supplier representatives (Kim Franco from Princess cruises above). It is what makes this industry so special. Stay tuned for more experiences from this tropical paradise.
