4 hours worth of workshops wrapped up and our small group gathered for a drive over to Waiheke island by boat.
Our guide Gary drive us around this slice of paradise with never ending vistas, beaches and windy roads. An amazing discovery.
As on previous excursions, our tour included wine tasting and a fantastic meal at Mudbrick. A fantastic winery and restaurant. The best food on the trip and that is saying something as we ate amazing dishes along the way.

As a World traveler and trains, planes, & automobile geek, I have embraced every opportunity to explore this amazing planet. As I write this, I realized vividly how far I have come from growing up in a dysfunctional family in a small Swiss town to living in the San Francisco Bay Area with my husband Greg and our pets Stella and Oscar. I am very fortunate to live the American Dream, having made a career our of my passion for travel and tourism.
