Nothing beats a local guide when visiting a new place! Jim had grown up here and he toured us around in expert fashion.

From dinner at a food truck to dancers at the international market place to scenic vistas on Round Top Drive, we got it all in one afternoon. Fantastic first day and more to come.

On a very personal note, we found our way to Punch Bowl cemetery to pay our respects to Nana Pat whom left us too soon. We had always wanted to visit her in her adopted home in Hanama Bay but fell short on the promise till today.

Nana Pat, we miss you and we think of you all the time. We are glad you are well cared for at this wonderful final resting place.
