The first two days hours in Puerto Vallarta were overcast with a marine layer that finally burned off just in time for a break by the pool today. This mid-market beachfront property features 452 rooms with varying views (garden to pool to ocean) and tops out with its Presidential Suite which I was fortunate to inspect in company of property sales manager Landry. Overall a good value for guests, Iberostar attracts an international clientele

My education on the various offerings and their differences continued today. One of the pluses here at Iberostar is the access to a safe swimmable beach. As you can see below, this multi-level building marks the coastline and provides guests stellar views of the ocean from its oceanfront rooms and rooftop terrace alike.

From the stunning terrace, guests cannot miss the fact that it is still whale season here for another month as even casual observers notice the spouting in the tranquil bay. I counted as many as 8 whales in a pod promenading up and down the coast. It never stops to mesmerize me and calls for another whale watching excursion on Saturday.

The eco focus of Iberostar is clearly visible and greatly appreciated everywhere throughout the resort. From stainless steel straws to biodegradable materials and the Vero refillable water stations, environmental education is a hallmark of the brand. kudos!
Stay tuned for more in the coming days from this tropical paradise.
