With everything we have lived through of late, the fact that it has been 15 months since my last travel industry conference seems trivial. Yet, meeting colleagues and trade partners in person is hugely beneficial and meaningful. Thus my excitement is high to personally attend and report from the Apple Leisure Group Club 500 conference in Cancun which begins today.
A 5-hour uneventful United flight later, I arrived at the Dreams Vista Golf & Spa Resort at Puerto Cancun. This 416 room property in the heart of the Cancun harbor complex is contemporary in style, quite different from the other Dreams properties. The coming 4 nights will give me time to check it all out. Stay tuned for more updates as the conference unfolds.
