Iconic images have shaped many travel dreams and bucket lists over the decades. One of these places I have dreamt about since the 1970s is the image above of the legendary Conrad Bora Bora with its over water bungalows and pristine views.
A short hop on Air Tahiti’ ATR400 turboprop aircraft and we arrived at the worlds cutest airport. one Tahitian bungalow large, transportation to the resorts happens by boat. Each hotel company operates its own shuttles and the #ConradBoraBora impressed right away with a classic designed inboard motor yacht. A short 20 minutes later, we arrived in the ultimate paradise.
Words truly fail to capture the moment and the experience over the next 24 hours. From the General Manager’ warm welcome to his well trained staff, and the impeccable accommodations, this is an exceptional experience!
I will admit right away that one night is not enough time to savor this resort so stay at least 3 if not as many as 7, time permitting. That said, ebvren 24 hours did tge trick in terms of spending time in the “most beautiful” place on earth.
As you can see from my images, this place is magnificent everywhere you turn. From the lookout over Mount Otemanu, to the SPA and it’s treatment rooms (inside and outdoor), and the resort’ white beaches, there is no shortage of insta-moments for every age range. This is a spectacularly lush oasis that made my heart sing.
Wether you swim in the turquoise ocean water or your private plunge pool or stroll the property on foot throug the tranquil immaculate landscapes provides the rare ZEN moments to soak up energy.
As is the case with every adventure, eventually time to say goodbye arrives. In our case it came with complements of Mother Nature in the form of a rainbow 🌈 and the fabulous staff waiving us farewell. #Best24hours.
