The undisputed jewel of the Society Islands is the stunning Atoll of Bora Bora which we get to enjoy overnight aboard #WindstarCruises. Courtesy of our airline partner Air Tahiti Nui, a special helicopter discovery was arranged for us. It was insanely amazing!
Five guests, me among them were strapped tightly in seats of the Thahiti Nui Helicopter for a circular island flight with landing on Tupai atoll – an uninhabited heart shaped island a few miles off Bora Bora. Not only did we land on the atoll, we were met with a bottle of bubbly (actually 2) which our pilot set up for us on a table with real glasses.
On our way back from the remote atoll, our pilot flew loops above our Windstar ship Star Breeze and then swung over the outer atoll along the coast and straight over the legendary Conrad Bora Bora. Stay tuned for a bonus blog in the coming days on the property.
