There is no rest for me yet. Only home for a few days and off I go again. This time it’s another business trip to represent my SKAL San Jose club at our annual North American Congress in Playa Mujeres near Cancun Mexico.
I have belonged to this global tourism industry organization for 8 years and as the immediate past president, it is my honor to attend.
The event is hosted by AM Resorts at their Dreams Playa Mujeres property. An all inclusive resort on the edge of the Caribbean Sea with stunning views from every room.
Our arrival was greeted with a beach side welcome evening on Isla Mujeres. The theme of this years’ event is “breaking barriers” which couldn’t be more timely with all the talk of walls.
Did you know that Tourism is the fastest growing industry sector outside manufacturing and it employs way more people worldwide than any other industry. Tourism matters and changes lives, and global collaboration is ever more needed to assure future generations can enjoy the beauty of our planet.
