My silence over the past month was entirely due to my desire to manage a vaccine appointment. Perseverance they say pays off and I am pleased to report that I am good to go. So, where am I off to next you wonder?
Continuing my “crisis as an opportunity” mantram, I selected the Dominican Republic as my next destination as it has been over 30 years since my last trip back when my mom was alive. Thinking back that far triggers warm feelings of a bygone era!
My trip begins tonight just before midnight on United via Chicago on a red eye which gets me to the beach in Punta Cana by 3 tomorrow afternoon local time. Follow me along over the coming week as I revisit this fab beach 🏝 destination.
