Months of planning and anticipation ended this morning as we stepped off our flights at Keflavik Airport. All but one of our illustrious group made it to the Icelandic capital as planned. Once Iceland Air rebooked Kent, he will follow us and arrive a day later just in time for us to hit the road on our circumnavigation of Iceland.

No trip would be complete without a welcome dinner for everyone to bond over. The abode called Messin, a fresh seafood specialist in downtown Reykjavik served as our host with arctic char casseroles and lobster bisque. More gourmet meals will follow as we make our way around tge island over 1200 miles.
